Telescopic (straight or stick boom) boom lifts are especially useful for applications that require high reach capability. Customer Preferred Controls:  The 400 Series uses the same platform control arrangement as the entire JLG line of boom lifts to facilitate operator and technical training. The design reduces the number of buttons and switches used to position the platform, and controls are spaced for use with gloved hands.

Greater Serviceability: JLG has streamlined preventive maintenance on the 400 Series by eliminating rear lube points and providing ease of access with an engine swing-out tray. This reduces the cost of routine maintenance work and reduces machine downtime.

Semi-Track Option and Exclusive Floating Idler System: The Semi-Track option allows you to travel through mud, sand and snow. The floating idler system allows the drive wheels to remain in contact with the ground for improved traction on uneven surfaces. Plus, for added versatility, the Semi-Track option can be easily removed in the field and converted back to a wheeled unit by removing a few bolts.
