Genie 12 Year Wire Rope Replacement

12-YEAR WIRE ROPE REPLACEMENT (AWPS ONLY) 12 year inspections are mandatory on cable-operated booms. The boom extend/retract cables must pass inspection. Once the 12 year inspection is completed, the new protocol requires that the cables receive additional inspections every 3 years to monitor wear. At any time that the cables do not pass inspection, replacement is mandatory.
